Peer Review Process

Jurnal Integritas Serasan Sekundang, Double-blind Peer Review Process. All submitted manuscripts are read by the Editor-in-Chief of Jurnal Integritas Serasan Sekundang first for the evaluation table. Manuscripts submitted that are not in accordance with the focus and scope will be immediately rejected without external supervision. Manuscripts that are evaluated as potentially interesting to our readers will be assigned to the relevant section editor for further handling. The section editor will ask at least two scientists to review the manuscript. Based on the comments from the reviewers, the Section Editor, and the Editor-in-Chief will make a decision on the manuscript.

The duration of the review process at Jurnal Integritas Serasan Sekundang is 4 to 8 weeks. This review period depends on the review board. The stages of the review process applied at Jurnal Integritas Serasan Sekundang are as follows:
Manuscript submissions are only processed online, namely OJS, website: https://jiss.muaraenimkab.go.id/jiss/index
Incoming manuscripts will be checked whether they are in accordance with the focus and include the integrity of the serasan sekundang journal. The editors will inform whether the manuscript is in accordance with the focus and includes the integrity of the Serasan Sekundang journal. If appropriate, the next process will be carried out. If not, we will recommend the manuscript to be submitted to another journal. The Irdh IJsch editors will be notified immediately via email.
Furthermore, the manuscript will be checked with Turnitin (similarity check). If the similarity level is more than 15%, the manuscript will be asked to be corrected or rejected by the editor-in-chief of the Serasan Sekundang Journal of Integrity. This decision is entirely the prerogative of the leadership of the Serasan Sekundang Journal of Integrity and cannot be contested. Furthermore, the manuscript will be reviewed at the editorial level to determine whether the manuscript provides sufficient contribution to the development of science and practice in the field of pharmaceutical science. The results of this will be informed to the author. Manuscripts that pass this stage will be continued to the peer reviewer stage.
For manuscripts accepted with revisions (minor or major), the manuscript will contain comments from the peer reviewer and will be returned to the author for revision. Referring to the policy at the Serasan Sekundang Journal of Integrity, the reviewer only provides advice on whether the manuscript is accepted or rejected. Meanwhile, the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the manuscript lies with the editor and editor-in-chief.
The author is given a maximum of one month to revise the manuscript. Additional time to revise can be requested from the editor via email (balitbangda@muaraenimkab.go.id). If there is no notification after the specified period, the author is considered to have withdrawn.
Manuscripts that have undergone final revision and are accepted by the editor will be published in the Jurnal Integritas Serasan Sekundang in an edition determined by the editor-in-chief.
